The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a Los Angeles Car Crash

Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in California he was 55 years old.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.

The renowned video game developer passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a motorway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.

"This is a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his family, and everyone impacted by his work," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
